Como has maintained its position as one of the top three fit-out contractors in the London fit-out market, according to a recent independent survey.
Carried out by Metropolis Property Research, the report covers fit outs comprising more than 20,000 square foot in central London over the last five years and focuses on large fit out deals (Cat B) of new and refurbished space which accounts for 59% of the total office mark up between 2004 and 2008.
The top ten fit out contractors account for 45% of all projects delivering a combined 16 million square foot between them. Como's slice of the market equates to 9%.
The report also analysed the top ten fit project managers and architects, many of which Como has worked with over the last few years. Project management firm GTMS has the largest market share with 20% and Gensler returned to top of the architects list with a 20% share.
Como managing director Steve Root commented: "We are delighted to maintain our position in the market and I believe that working for excellent clients and having the best staff have contributed to this."
