Information
MLogic were commissioned to supply retail hoarding to the BAA Retail Moves team at Heathrow Airport, most notably to the T3 Air side retail project, which is designed to ultimately give increased space to security areas for internal departures.
MLogic designed and installed a high specification hoarding in order for the retail fit out team to be able to work safely and efficiently inside without fear of being heard and being held within their own fire barrier from the rest of the airport.
MLogic's role in the project was to supply hoarding and site security to all retail outlet changes across all terminals. It was important that BAA regained some quality and commonality across the airport, with some very poor standard hoarding being put in recently. The Retail Projects team are the only group who chose to improve commonality. So improving quality across high quality retail construction projects.
What MLogic brings to the project?
- To improve the quality of construction site boundary shown to BAA’s customers whilst improving hoarding standards for BAA, particularly with regards to safety
- To complete installation / removal of hoarding with minimal notice, so that BAA achieves their key dates and we do not impact on other works.
- To ensure deadlines are met, helping BAA to facilitate the key switch dates of BAA’s most important clients;
- the airport’s retailers
- To standardise BAA’s product and bring best value to BAA
