Michael Horenko takes the reins as regional director for Asia

Mace Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Horenko as the new regional director for Asia.

Michael said: "It's an exciting time to be involved in any way with Asia, with its diverse cultures, various stages of development and without doubt, enormous growth potential. I have been lucky to have spent most of my career in Asia and am privileged to now represent Mace Group in the region. I am looking forward to working with the respective country managers, who are supported by the very capable regional team based in Hong Kong."

Group board director Michael Davies said: "The group has been growing steadily in Asia since 2004. Michael has an exceptional track record in the region and his promotion to regional director and to the international board marks an important mile-stone for the group. The board and I look forward to working with Michael as we continue our expansion in this exciting and dynamic region and wish him the best of luck in his new role."

Michael's 30-year career has seen him work for some major names, predominantly in the Asia Pacific region. He first joined Mace Group's international team in 2006 and was placed on two major projects for the group, first Bahrain City Centre and then Marina Bay Sands in Singapore before becoming country manager for China earlier this year. Michael will manage the group's country and regional activities from Shanghai, where he is based.
