Mace Group wins Project / Construction Management Firm of the Year 2008

The 1st of April saw the 14th annual Building awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in central London and Mace emerged victorious walking away with the project/construction management firm of the year award. In a glowing citation, the judges confirmed that Mace won "thanks to its continuing evolution into a superconsultant able to handle any project you care to throw at it".
Mace Group was also a finalist in the construction consultancy/surveyor of the year category, where judges noted that "Mace has wowed its clients while expanding its global reach and providing exciting opportunities for its staff."
Como also received high praise as a finalist in the contractor of the year category and was singled out as "one of the most exciting contractors to appear in many years".
Graduate trainee Neil Hadley was a runner up in the newcomer of the year category. Nominated by a number of directors for his passion for the job, 20 year old Neil is currently on a one year placement with the company during which he is not only undertaking the first year of the graduate programme but also managing projects under the company's framework agreement with Hertfordshire County Council.
